1.Where is Valspar’s stock traded?
 Valspar’s common stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “VAL”.

2.Does Valspar pay dividends?
 Yes. The company will pay a quarterly dividend of $.13 per share in 2007. Regular payment dates are the 15th day of January, April, July, and October.

3.Does Valspar have a dividend reinvestment plan or a direct stock purchase plan?
 Yes. If you do not currently own any Valspar common stock, you can participate by making an initial investment in Valspar common stock for as little as $1,000, but not more than $10,000 through the plan. Alternatively, you may authorize the automatic monthly investment feature and initiate your investment with only $100. You must be a registered holder of at least 25 shares of Valspar common stock to participate in the dividend reinvestment program. If your shares are held for you in a brokerage account, you may make arrangements to have some or all of the shares of Valspar common stock registered directly in your name. 4.What is Valspar’s fiscal year?
 Valspar has a 4-4-5 accounting cycle with the fiscal year ending on the Friday on or immediately preceding October 31. Each quarter follows the same pattern with fiscal quarters ending on the Friday on or immediately preceding January 31, April 30, July 31, and October 31. Earnings for each quarter are generally released in the third full week following the end of the quarter.

5.Does Valspar have a stock buy back program?
 Valspar has an authorization to buy back up to 4 million shares which is primarily used to offset the dilutive effect of options exercised.
